(re)connection Portugal Retreat
May 18-23, 2027
Step out of the speed of everyday life and into a slower, softer rhythm your body has been craving. Held at the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, this retreat is an invitation to reconnect with the aliveness that naturally emerges when we loosen our grip on the endless doing, striving, and productivity of modern life.
For five nights and six spacious days, youβll be immersed in the stillness of Cocoon. The days unfold with twice daily yoga practices, cacao circles, workshops, journalling, and moments of reflection. There will be space to move, to rest, to create, to laugh, to wander barefoot, to write, draw, daydream, swim, sauna, and simply be.
Nourished by three vegetarian meals each day are prepared using ingredients grown on Cocoonβs farm and by local farmers; slow rise breads still warm from the oven, ancient grains, olive oil, sun ripened vegetables, seasonal fruits, and optional natural wines.
Wake to birdsong and misty sunrises over wild meadows and pine forests. Spend your days surrounded by the magic of nature; peacocks wandering freely, goats grazing nearby, long afternoons by the lake unfolding without urgency. Cocoon invites you back into the ancient remembering that you are part of nature.
This retreat is an invitation to do less to receive more. Through ritual, movement, rest, simplicity, and togetherness, we return to ourselves; beneath the performance, beneath the pressure, beneath all the noise.
Prices range from Β£1250βΒ£2300 for five nights and six days of all inclusive luxury accommodation, including all yoga practices, workshops, meals, and your stay.

Sophie Rumble was first drawn to yoga through the physical β the dynamic, sweaty classes. But it wasnβt long before she began to feel the deeper, transformative effects of the practice. With a degree in Philosophy and ongoing training to become both a Psychotherapist and Naturopathic Nutritionist, Sophie is dedicated to exploring the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and spiritual health. She is trained across a range of disciplines β including Vinyasa, Yin, Rocket, breathwork, and meditation. Classes are always grounded in ancient yogic philosophy, offering space for introspection and self-inquiry, with the intention that you leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and at ease. Sophieβs classes are typically fluid, energising and playful (and always accompanied by a carefully curated playlist) guiding you towards greater space and freedom in both body, mind and spirit.
